How to edit field values

If you decide to rename your field values, here is the right guide for you.

We will take a case when you want to edit the “Stages” of your Sales pipeline.

1. First thing you need to do is to open a folder with your Customers (we took this folder) and select a Settings & Permissions button in the context menu.

2. Now click on the “Pencil” icon next to the “Stages” field and start editing the values. You can rename them and also you can change the fields order, just hold on the field and move it.

Also, after renaming the value in the "Stage" field, be aware that the ones you rename will remain the same and the newly created ones will be added as extra.

Here is an example below:

You want to rename two fields: "Lead" and "Qualifying" into "Test" and "Test 1" respectively.

1) Group your records by field “Stage” and you’ll be taken to a card view.

"Lead" and "Qualifying" remain in the card view when you group all your records by Stage, when the newly created "Test" and "Test 1" are blank.

2) You need to drag the records from the "Lead" and "Qualifying" stages into "Test" and "Test 1" in order to migrate them. The old values then will disappear.

Congrats! You have successfully edited the field values.
